NDLEA sensitises corps members on drug abuse in Jigawa

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Jigawa State Command, has sensitised corps members on drug abuse and its consequences.

A team from the command delivered the lecture on Thursday at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Permanent Orientation Camp, Fanisau, Jigawa State, to Batch ‘C’ Stream I Corps Members.

The Public Relations Officer of the command, ASN Hassan Habibullah, disclosed this in a statement.

The lecture, titled “Drug Abuse and Its Consequences,” was delivered by the Officer-in-Charge, Yahaya Garba, DSN, with Corps Members from Platoons 1, 2, and 4 in attendance.

The sensitisation focused on educating the Corps Members on the dangers of drug abuse and its physical, psychological, and social consequences, while encouraging them to make informed and responsible choices and contribute positively to society.
