
Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State on Tuesday visited Gombe to condole the government and people of the state over the death of Alh Usman Faruk, former Governor of the Old North-Western state.
Faruk died at the age of 85, leaving behind three wives, 23 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

During the visit, the first port of call by Gov. Tambuwal and his entourage was the Government House, Gombe, where they met and condoled the state Governor, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya and some members of his cabinet.
He was also at the residence of the late elder statesman.
