The Nigerian Army has said that it will soon communicate the burial arrangements for late Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru.
Army spokesman Brig Gen Mohammed Yerima said Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru died in an air crash on Friday in Kaduna which also claimed the lives of 10 other officers including the crew.

Others killed in the crash were: Brig Gen MI Abdulkadir, Brig Gen Olayinka, Brig Gen Kuliya, Major Lawal Hayat (ADC to Attahiru), Major Nura Hamza and Sgt Umar.
The crew members killed include Flt Lt TO Asaniyi, Flt Lt AA Olufade, Sgt Adesina and ACM Oyedepo.
The COAS was en route to Kaduna from Abuja on Friday when the unfortunate incident happened.
