
Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum and his host, Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq were guests of honour when Kwara State University, Malete, conferred honorary doctorate degree on Borno elder statesman, Alhaji Muhammadu Indimi, OFR.
The presentations held during the University’s 8th and 9th combined convocation ceremony.

Also honoured were President Muhammadu Buhari’s chief of staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari and the CEO, BUA Group, AbdulSamad Rabiu.
Indimi, an international businessman and philantropist was awarded Doctor of Philosophy by the University, in recognition of his contributions to the Nigerian society.
Governor Zulum was accompanied to Kwara State by two of Borno Senators Mohammed Ali Ndume and Abubakar Kyari, Secretary to Borno State Government, Usman Jidda Shuwa, the VC Borno State Univeristy, Prof. Umar Kyari Sandabe and Quantity Surveyor Mohammed Makinta.
Also at the event were the Shehu of Borno Alh. (Dr) Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al-amin El-Kanemi, CFR and the Vice Chancellor of UNIMAID, Professor Aliyu Shugaba who were also invited by Indimi.
