Gombe State government officials led by the Secretary to the Gombe State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi interacted with APC Musicians Forum to rub minds on how best to strengthen the tie between the two bodies.
Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi in his address, urged members of the forum to sustain their enlightenment campaign and sensitization on Government policies and programmes using their God- given talent.

“I urge you to use your musical skills and talents to educate the public, especially on some of the misunderstood reforms such us Tax, Biometric exercise and new land administration by Gombe Geographic Information System, GOGIS.
Professor Njodi told the theatre artists that Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya would have loved to be part of the interactive session but was away for an official engagement, adding that he promised interfacing with them immediately he returns.
In his brief remark, Chief of Staff Government House, Abubakar Inuwa Kari lauded the musicians for their resilience towards promoting Gombe APC led government right from the 2019 election campaign period to date.
He extended governor Inuwa Yahaya’s commendation to the forum for their consistency and pledged meeting the forum’s operational equipment needs in no distant time.
Abubakar Inuwa Kari delivered an undisclosed cash gift to the APC Musicians to boost their morale.
“As you are aware we just ushered in the new year (2022) and the Governor had dolled out huge sums of money to various groups, including religious, cultural and political ones, as new year gift that is why he approved this amount as your forum’s new year gift before he meets you when he returns”, Kari said
The forum’s Chairman, Auwal Mohammed (Auwal last Don), on behalf of the artistes pledged more commitment in deploying their God- given talent to ensure that governor Inuwa Yahaya returns in 2023.
The event held at the SSG’s conference room was attended by some Hon Commissioners and other government officials.
