Alh. Mohammed Ali Jajari has defeated Mohammed Alkali Imam to become the Peoples Democratic Party, gubernatorial candidate in Borno State.
He emerged winner in the gubernatorial primary election that held at Forshams Event Center, Maiduguri.

Abdulrahman Bobboi, the chairman of the election who declared Jajari winner said he polled 487 votes to defeat Imam who polled 362 votes.
‘As the chairman of the election committee and by the power conferred on me, I declare Jajari winner of the election. He is the Borno State PDP gubernatorial candidate,’ he said.
He thanked the security personnel and other officials for helping in conduct the peaceful election.
