Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has reaffirmed his readiness to work tirelessly towards ensuring the victory of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and all candidates under the platform of the party in forthcoming general elections.
Mohammed, who is also seeking reelection, spoke during the empowerment of 3000 women by the Bauchi State First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed, at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi.
“Without any reservations, I urged the great people of Bauchi to give massive votes to H.E. Atiku Abubakar as an appreciation for his contribution to the development of the state,” the governor said.
Dateline Nigeria reports that many had been doubting the governor’s commitment to the Atiku presidential ambition due to differences with allies of the former vice president in the state.
