The Kano State Police Command announces with profound sadness the death of SP Wakili S. Mohammed, attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Kano.
SP Wakili S. Mohammed passed away after a brief illness today, Wednesday 4th November 2026. He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, on behalf of the officers and men of the Command, commiserates with the family, friends and colleagues of the deceased officer over this irreparable loss.
The Commissioner describes the late SP Wakili as a dedicated, disciplined and professional officer.
Until his death, he was a committed and dedicated police officer who served the Nigeria Police Force and Kano State with loyalty and distinction. His death is a great loss not only to his family, but to the Command and the Force at large.
The Command prays that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, and gives his family, friends and colleagues the fortitude to bear the loss.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
