Kannywood star Mansurah Isah has taken to her social media handles to express her joy after First Lady Aisha Buhari promoted Fanan, a multi-million naira movie by the veteran actress.
Dateline Nigeria reports that Fanan features Mansurah’s ex-husband Sani Danja, their two children Iman and Khalifah Sani Danja and other Kannywood greats including Ali Nuhu, Yakubu Mohammed, Saratu Gidado (Daso), among others.
The First Lady had shared on her Instagram page a clip, which shows the actress dancing to the movie’s theme song, with the caption “One of the Future Assured volunteers #MansuraIsa Fanan Movie.” The clip has been viewed about 20,000 times in five hours.
“Mama, I don’t know what to say wallah. All what I will say is that… I am just promoting my movie #fananthemovie and you supported me. This is a huge blessing to me,” an elated Mansurah Isah said on her Instagram account, where she has 1.5 million followers.

The actress went on to say that Fanan is a movie on gender-based violence. “You will love it. I am not dancing to anything. I am a movie producer, I produce movies. First Lady of Nigeria Haj Aisha Buhari posted me. Na wetin remain.”
