A specialized medical team at the Neuroscience Center of King Abdullah Medical City, a member of the Makkah Health Cluster, successfully saved the life of the 70-year-old pilgrim by surgical removal of a large brain tumor.

The Makkah Health Cluster reported that the pilgrim lost consciousness at the Algerian Hajj mission’s headquarters, necessitating his urgent transfer to King Faisal Hospital. After conducting the necessary tests, it was decided to transfer him to King Abdullah Medical City.

A detailed checkup with a CT scan revealed the presence of a brain tumor that required immediate surgical intervention.
