Nigerian bilingual singer Ali Isah Jita, simply known as Ali Jita, has said that he wants to become one of the best Qur’an reciters in the world.
Jita, who announced this on his Twitter handle on Wednesday, said he would retire from music very soon, eliciting mixed reactions from his followers.
“Soon I will retire from music. I want to be one of the best Quran reciters the world has ever had in the future, insha Allah,” he tweeted.
One of his followers Aisha Wunti said “Let me marry before you retire so you can sing Indoooo and Gimbiya Aisha at my wedding.”
Many others prayed to Almighty Allah to make the singer’s dream a reality.
