Popular Hausa musician Ali Jita (real name Ali Isah Jibrin), has announced the death of his father.
Alhaji Isa Jibrin Kibiya, a businessman, reportedly died after battling with an undisclosed ailment.
Jita made the announcement Saturday morning on his Instagram page.
“l am deeply sad to announce the death of my father Alh Isah Jibril Kibiya, Janaiza will hold Innsha Allah by 9 :00am in his residence 8th street Shagari Quarters Kano, may Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him the highest place in jannah.”
He also made the announcement on his Twitter handle.
“My dad passed away last night, In losing him, I lost my greatest blessings and comfort, I know I will miss him alot ?the toughest man I ever knew, Rest in Jannatul-Firdaus DAD ?Allah yasa karshen wahalarka kenan,” he tweeted.
