The Minister of Transportation, Sen. Saidu Alkali, has paid a strategic visit to the Minister of State for Regional Development Uba Maigari Ahmadu to strengthen collaboration on critical infrastructure for the North East region.
This was disclosed in a statement posted by the Minister of State for Regional Development on his Facebook page.
The visit which took place on Thursday was tagged “Inter-Ministerial Synergy for North East Transformation”.
According to the post, at the heart of the discussion were the North East Rail System and the North East Airline Project.
“Both are top priorities of the Ministry of Regional Development, aimed at unlocking connectivity, boosting regional economies, and accelerating recovery and prosperity across the North East.
“Partnerships like this are key to delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda, through unity, purpose, and action,” it said.
