The career page of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has been overwhelmed by high number of applicants seeking to join the oil firm in its latest recruitment drive.
The NNPC had on Friday asked prospective applicants “passionate about building an exciting career in NNPC Limited” to visit https://careers.nnpcgroup.com to apply.
However, few hours after the commencement of the exercise, the page is now being slowed by the traffic on the site.
In a statement on its social media handles, the NNPC said “Due to unprecedented traffic to the NNPC Ltd. career page from applicants applying for vacancies, the site is currently experiencing slow load times.
“Our technicians are working diligently to rectify the problem as quickly as possible. Please be assured that the application process deadline remains August 20, 2024.
