Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has condoled with the family and friends kf Sheikh Yusuf Sambo Rigachikun over the death of his son.
Auwal Yusuf Sambo Rigachikun died Sunday night and was buried Monday morning in Kaduna.
Atiku, in a statement on Monday, said the loss of a child is deep like no other.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Sheikh Yusuf Sambo Rigachikun as they mourn the loss of their beloved son, Malam Auwal Yusuf Sambo.
“The pain from the loss of a child is deep, like no other. Please be assured that you are not alone in this moment of grief. May the comfort and mercy of the Almighty Allah envelope you and all yours.
“On behalf of my family, I pray that Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and engrace the family with the strength and fortitude to bear this loss,” Atiku said.
