Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has instructed vehicle owners to desist from parking their vehicles on the road.
The governor gave the instruction when he stopped over in Lambata Weekly Market on his way to Minna to create awareness among motorists about proper parking practices to ensure better traffic flow and promote road safety
Governor Umaru Bago, who observed that many vehicles were parked on the road, creating unnecessary congestion on the Minna-Suleja road, said such practice constitute nuisance to the environment.
He enjoined them to park on the shoulder of a road rather than on the inner lane of a road to prevent accidents.
