Bauchi State governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress(APC) in the 2023 election, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar, has expressed confidence that he will get justice at the Tribunal .
The APC candidate said he believes in the judicial system, adding that the truth cannot be suppressed.
Sadiq told journalists in Bauchi on Monday that , “I believe in Nigeria’s judicial system and I have strong faith that the truth cannot be suppressed.”
He reiterated that the last governorship election was marred by many irregularities, hence he was denied victory where he won.
Thw APC candidate said he played fair during the election and would not hesitate to contest any form of irregularity at the law court.
“We will not stop in our bid to seek justice for the people of Bauchi State and liberate them from the PDP.
“We will do our best to see that justice prevails and people’s wishes are respected, success belongs to God but we believe in justice and equity.
“We are sure the tribunal judges will look and examine the facts of everything before them and we will emerge victorious by the grace of Allah”
Sadique expressed gratitude to the electorate in the State for their support and the confidence reposed on him and urged them to be calm and law abiding .
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Senator. Bala Mohammed as the winner of the last 18th March governorship election in Bauchi.
Bala scored 525,280 votes to clinch the seat and defeated APC’s retired Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, who came second with 432,272 votes
