Bauchi Rep earmarks N670m for water, skill acqusition centers, empowement

A member representing Ningi Warji Federal Constituency of Bauchi State in the House of Representatives, Adamu Hashimu Ranga, has said 679mn will be spent to provide water, skill acqusition centers in his constituency.

He said N100m will be used to build well equiped three skills acquisition centers in Ningi, Warji and Burra, while N70million will be used to provide potable water to Tabla community as part of his commitment to reduce the problems of hunger, hardship and unemployement in his constituency.

Ranga said this in Bauchi when he interacted with reporters he said the sum of N8.5million was used and distributed food items to bring succour to his constituents.

The food items, distributed included Maize, Rice and bags of millet were made available to households. Ranga said he sponsored 42 youth that learned basic skills ininstallations and repair of Solar, DSTV, CCTV , software and hardware and moniepoint business.

He said N100,000,000 N100mn was earmarked for the building of three skills acquisition centers in Ningi, Warji and Burra communities.

Ranga said he sponsored two bills for the creation of Federal College of Agriculture in Ningi and Federal College of Education in Warji and all the bills has scaled through first and second reading in the National Assembly.

Ranga said he also secured construction of classrooms blocks and offices and building of many health centers in his constituency.

The lawmaker said part of his effort Tabla community in Ningi local Government benefitted from construction of borehole worth N70,000,000 million.

He said the interventions are part of his constituency initiatives and reiterated his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises towards uplifting the social economy and human development in his constituency.

The Reps member said the development will be in agriculture, industrialisation, microbusiness empowerment youth and women’s empowerment which are central to the development plan.

The lawmaker said most of the ideas in the development plan will be captured in 2025 budget, adding that they would be easy to achieve with the support and concerted efforts of stakeholders in the constituency.

“Our vision is to create an optimistic, self-confident, prosperous Ningi Warji Federal Constituency through the utilisation of our human and natural resources and operating within a democratic, open, and fair sub-national where opportunities and fair opportunities exist for all.”

Ranga said presently he has over N500mn skills acquisition materials that he will used to empower his constituents He said those constituents are targeted with a view to contributing meaningfully to their standard of livings and most importantly to end hardship and starvation in their livelihood.

Ranga said that the empowerment is patriotically aimed at alleviating poverty, hardship and starvation that would truly ensure their rest of minds and longevity.

The Lawmaker, said that the materials to be allocated can’t circulate the entire constituents at once, pleading with those who are not considered in this phase of employment to annoy not and exercise patience.

He promised that those who are not considered now, would be favoured in the subsequent programmes of empowerment.

Ranga called on those who will benefit from empowerment materials to make judicious use of the items, and cautiously refrain from acts of disposing them but purposeful use on tasks they are meant for.

He highlighted the materials to be distributed as Laptops, Moniepoints, Sewing Machines, Dryers, Generators and cash among others. 

Many constituents interviewed commended the effort of the law maker and urged constituents to support his initiatives and the state government so that they can get more developments that would usher in unprecedented prosperity in the constituency
