A daughter of a member of the Borno State House of Assembly representing Ngala constituency Hon Bukar Abatca has been found dead, Dateline Nigeria has learnt
Ammabuwa was strangulated to death by an unknown persons around Gidan Dambe in Maiduguri on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023, according to ZagazOla Makama, a security analyst and counter-insurgency expert.
“The husband of the victim who took the corpse to the police station said he found her lifeless body in his house with her hand and legs tied behind her back while her two year-old child was crying,” Makama said on X, formerly Twitter.
Another account said Ammabuwa was killed around 7:30pm while the husband was in the mosque praying, adding that her funeral prayer will take place today at the 707 housing estate Maiduguri.
The Gwange Police Division evacuated the corpse to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for autopsy and investigation.
