BPSR partners Niche Consulting Firm to boost public service delivery

The Federal Government has officially partnered with Niche Customer Experience Consulting Firm to enhance public service delivery in Nigeria.

This partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding between the Bureau of Public Service Reforms and the consulting firm in Abuja on Thursday.

The collaboration aims to organize the inaugural Nigerian National Public Service Experience Conference in 2025, which will bring together public service officials from across the nation.

The conference will serve as a platform for reflection, reinvention, and inspiration, challenging outdated practices and introducing innovative approaches ¹.

According to the Director General of the BPSR, Mr. Ibrahim Dasuki Arabi, “This collaboration is about reshaping and reimagining the delivery of public service in Nigeria. By leveraging the private sector’s capacity for innovation and customer focus, we aim to build a public service that truly meets the needs of all Nigerians.”

The partnership is expected to drive meaningful and measurable improvements in public service delivery, with initiatives such as nationwide research to understand citizens’ expectations and workshops designed to build capacity among public servants.

deBBie akwara, Founder of Niche Customer Experience Consulting Firm, emphasized the transformative power of customer experience, stating that “this partnership reflects a shared commitment to excellence and a belief that by working together, we can achieve transformative results.”

The Federal Government’s commitment to public service reforms is evident in its efforts to enhance governance and trust in public institutions.

As Arabi reiterated, “Our actions will shape how Nigerians experience governance and trust public institutions.”
