The Maradin Katsina and District Head of Kurfi, Alhaji (Dr.) Amadu Kurfi has passed on.
He died in the early hours of Thursday, Dateline Nigeria learnt from family sources.
Born in 1931, Kurfi was former Chairman of the National Electoral Commission (NEC) which conducted the general election that ushered-in the late former President, Alhaji Shehu Aliyu Shagari.
