The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has confirmed the appointment of eight new directors.
A statement from the apex bank listed the new direcotrs as Mr. Osita Nwanisobi (Corporate Communications Department), Mrs. Elizabeth Omolara Fasoranti (Branch Operations), Dr. Abdulkadir Abdullahi Jibril (Medical Services) and Mrs. Rashidat Jumoke Monguno (Consumer Protection Department).
Other directors are Mrs. Amina Habib (Human Resources Department), Dr. Blaise Ijebor (Risk Management), Mr. Chibuzo Anthony Efobi (Financial Policy and Regulation) and Mr. Benjamin Nnadi (Reserve Management).
Dateline Nigeria reports that Nwanisobi had been acting as head of the Corporate Communications Department since October 2020 when Isaac Okorafor retired from service.
All the appointments took effect from August 25, 2021, the statement said.
