Kaduna State marked the 2025 Children’s Day at Murtala Square with a strong message against bullying, under the theme “Our Children Our Future.”
Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, representing Governor Uba Sani, emphasized that children remain central to the state’s development agenda, describing every day as children’s day for the administration.
She highlighted key initiatives such as the-Reaching Out-of-School Children (ROOSC), programme to boost inclusive education, and the establishment of Vocational and Technology Skills Acquisition Institutes across all senatorial zones to empower youth.
Dr. Balarabe urged parents and communities to support government efforts by enrolling children in school and nurturing values of discipline and responsibility.
The celebration featured parades, performances, and messages of hope, reflecting Kaduna’s continued commitment to child rights and development.
