Dep Gov Hadiza Balarabe hosts Kaduna-born international footballer

Kaduna State Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe today received on a courtesy visit Mr. Leke Samson James, a Kaduna-born International Footballer and his team in her office.

Leke is the founder of Leke James Grassroot Soccer Foundation based in Kaduna which organizes football tournaments to source for local talents and link them with opportunities internationally.

Leke informed the deputy governor that the fourth edition of the foundation’s football tournaments is underway and stated his readiness to partner and colaborate with KDSG in sports development.

The Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe reiterated KDSG’s commitment to sports development stating that for us “we are transforming sports from leisure into business”.

She expressed the state government’s commitments to support any development initiatives by individuals and organizations saying “Kaduna State Government is opened for partnerships and colabortions because we believed that we can not do it alone”.

In attendance is the Principal Private Secretary to Governor Uba Sani, Professor Bello Ayuba, and the Permanent Secretaries of the Ministry of Sports Development, Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Business Innovation and Technology.
