Updated: Dr Nuhu Ahmad Wabi III emerges new Jama’are emir

Dr Nuhu Ahmad Muhammad Wabi III was on Monday appointed as the 10 Emir of Jama’are by Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Mohammed.

He received his letter today at the palace of the Emir of Jama’are in Bauchi State.

The new emir succeeds his late father Alhaji Ahmad Muhammad Wabi III who died on February 5, 2022 at the age of 92 after reigning for 52 years..

While announcing the appointment, the governor, represented by the Secretary to the State Government said the appointment of Dr Nuhu Wabi followed “due and careful consideration of the names recommended by the Kingmakers of Jama’are Emirate Council”.

He said the new Emir has the best role model in his late father, urging him to copy the exemplary leadership style and qualities he lived by.

Dr Nuhu who was until elevation the Yarima (prince) and District Head of Jama’are is the eldest son of the deceased monarch.
