Jigawa State Government has declared Friday 14, May 2021 as Public Holiday to mark this year’s Eid el-Fitr celebration in the State.
This is contained in a statement signed by the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila, on Wednesday.

The statement said Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar congratulated Muslims on the occasion.
It, therefore, called on the Civil Servants and the general public to use the period of this year’s Eid el-Fitr celebration to pray for peace, stability and economic transformation in the State.
“During the occasion, it is expected that all Public Servants and the entire People of the State will pray to Almighty Allah for continued protection and guidance to our leaders, peace, the economic prosperity of the State and Nigeria, and be Law-abiding”, said the statement.
The statement also urged the People of the State to reflect and live their lives based on the teachings of Islam and the Practice of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
