Kaduna State Governor Malam Nasir El-Rufai has appointed Rt. Hon. Aminu Abdullahi Shagali as his Special Adviser (Political Matters).
One of the aides of the governor, Mukhtar Maigamo, posted the news on social media on Thursday, where he congratulated the new appointee.
Shagali unceremoniously left the Kaduna State House of Assembly after his seat was declared vacant by the current speaker Yusuf Zailani.
Shagali, who represented Sabon Gari constituency, earlier resigned as speaker in February 2020 to avoid impeachment.
