A former Permanent Secretary in the Kaduna State Ministry of Local Government, Alhaji Ahmed Abdu Zaria, has passed.
Abdu Zaria, who also held the traditional title of Bebejin Zazzau, died on Sunday at a medical facility in Kaduna after a brief illness, according to a statement by the Zazzau Emirate Council.
The statement by Yariman Zazzau, District Head of Ikara, Alhaji Galadima Sani Umar, said the janaza (funeral prayer) for the deceased will takes place at their family House (Gidan Abdu Jaji) at Amaru, Zaria by 5:00pm today (Sunday).
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the late Babejin Zazzau and admit him into paradise.
