Former Nigeria International Tijjani Babangida and his wife, Maryam Waziri, a Kannywood actress, have welcomed their first son, nearly 14 months after their marriage in Gombe.
Babangida announced the birth of the their son through his social media handles on Monday.
“Glory be to God the all mighty… my prince fadeel is here,” the proud father posted on Facebook.
Dateline Nigeria reports that Maryam, born 1992 in Gombe, has starred in dozens of movies since she got her first movie role in 2015. She is now playing the role of Laila in Labarina, showing on Arewa24.
Babangida, 50, was previously married to Rabah, a Tunisian and a sister of Daniel Amokachi’s wife and they are blessed with a son who is now in the university.
