Former Taraba State Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has been granted a bail of N150 million following his arraignment on charges bordering on criminal breach of trust, conspiracy and conversion of public funds to the tune of N27bn.
Ishaku and the former Permanent Secretary Bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Taraba State, Bello Yero, were on Monday, September 30, arraigned before Justice S. C Oriji of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Maitama, Abuja for fraud.
Justice Oriji, adjourned the matter till Thursday, October 3, for hearing on bail applications after they bathe pleaded not guilty to the charges read to them.
