The Bank of Industry (BoI) has approved a $20m technology fund for young innovators while the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is offering a N90billion soft loan facility for small scale agriculture enterprises.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo announced this on Tuesday in Abuja at a meeting to review the progress of the Buhari administration’s effort to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
“MSMEs though small in units, account for 50% of our GDP collectively. It is why President Muhammadu Buhari is committed to improving the MSME experience with increased access to finance, speedy product registration and certification,” Osinbajo said.
