Fire fighters are battling to extinguish an inferno at the popular Next Cash & Carry supermarket Abuja, Dateline Nigeria reports.
As at the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire has not been established.
Next Cash & Carry, one of Nigeria’s indigenous hypermarkets, was reportedly established by former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi.
The shopping centre, located on Ahmadu Bello Way, Jahi, boasts of a huge selection of products from household items and home furnishings to clothing and jewellery, electrical appliances, music and books, as well as food and non-food items.
