The Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouk Umar, has conferred the title of Sarauniyar Tsangayun Hausa on a forner Minister of State for Education Hon. Aishatu Jibrin Dukku in recognition of her remarkable service to the people, particularly in education and community development.
The event took place Saturday in Daura, Katsina State. Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya was represented at the event by his Chief of Staff Alhaji Abubakar Inuwa Kari.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya congratulated Aishatu Jibrin Dukku, a former House of Representatives member, on the well-deserved recognition.
He described her as a committed leader and a strong pillar of support for education, cultural preservation, and women’s empowerment in Gombe State and Northern Nigeria.
The governor also appreciated the Emir of Daura for bestowing the title on a personality whose contributions to society are in line with the values and traditions of the Hausa people.
