FRSC commissions new estate in Ilorin

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has made significant progress towards realizing Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed’s vision of “One Man One House” with the commissioning of a new estate in Ilorin, Kwara State.

This milestone achievement aligns with the Corps Marshal’s commitment to enhancing personnel welfare.

During the commissioning ceremony at CAMICS Garden City held today April 29, 2025, the Corps Marshal highlighted that the program is more than just building structures; it symbolizes a vision fulfilled, partnerships rekindled, and hope restored.

He emphasized that the project showcases perseverance, dedication to staff welfare, and a collective resolve to make affordable housing a reality for FRSC personnel.

Key highlights of the FRSC’s housing initiative include: Delivery of over 40 hectares of land for staff and public subscription, Handing over of approximately 40 homes across various locations, including Orozo (Abuja), Ado-Ekiti, Ilorin, Uyo, Sokoto, Kuje (Abuja) and Bwari (Abuja)

The Corps Marshal expressed pride in the partnership with developers like CAMICS Consults and the determination of the FRSC Housing Cooperative, which have contributed to this achievement.

The commissioning of FRSC estates across locations is expected to significantly improve the lives of FRSC personnel, marking a major milestone in the Corps’ commitment to staff welfare.
