An Imam of the Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) mosque in Utako Abuja, Ustaz Abdullahi Umar Adam has tasked road users to always obey traffic rules and regulations and avoid actions that could undermine their lives while using the road.
The Imam stated this during his special sermons at the mosque to mark the 2024 World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims which ended with the Special Jumaat Service observed today 22 November, 2024 across the country.
In his message to mark the Special event, the National Chairman of JIBWIS, Abdullahi Bala La’u stressed the importance of public enlightenment to sensitize people to take their safety seriously.
The congregation offered special prayers for the repose of the souls of the departed and safety of those that are living.
The special Jummat prayers had in attendance some senior officers of the FRSC who were led to the Mosque by Assistant Corps Marshal in charge of Special Duties and External Relations, ACM Aliyu Datsama who represented the Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed.
