The Federal University Dutse (FUD) has disowned a fake 2020/2021 Post-UTME screening exercise through a WhatsApp requesting prospective candidates to pay N3,000 into some bank accounts of one Prof. Aselebor Godstime.
The University said it has neither released any Post UTME screening date nor fees for the 2020/2021 academic session.
“The so called Prof. Aselebor Godstime is neither a staff nor Head Department of Accounting of the University.
“This is a scam for which the general public should take note. The university will inform the security agencies for immediate action.
“The University has a formal channel of announcing Post-UTME and other activities to the public.
“We would like to appeal to candidates and parents to wait for the official announcement of the 2020 / 2021 Post UTME Screening date.
“The general public should also disregard any fake news circulating in the social media concerning Post UTME Screening and any other university activities,” M. Bukar Usman, Registrar, said in a statement.
