
Three students of the Federal University Dutse (FUD) have been expelled to expel for stealing ten desktop computers and three mobile phones in the institution.
The Vice-Chancellor of FUD, Prof . Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed approved the expulsion of the students based on recommendation of the Students Disciplinary Committee after its 15th meeting, according to the university’s publication.
It saud the Students Disciplinary Committee found Usman Abdulwahid, a student of the Department of Computer Science guilty of stealing 10 Lenovo desktop computers from the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) E-Learning Centre.
“The meeting also found Aliyu Lawan of the Department of Economics and Development Studies guilty of stealing a mobile phone at the ICT E-Learning Centre.
“Similarly, Ahmad Gambo of the Department of Computer Science was also found guilty of stealing three mobile phones from the Male Hostel BlockB.”
The VC admonished students to face their studies and avoid criminal behaviors which the University community would not tolerate adding that FUD is determined to produce students who are found worthy in learning and character.
