
Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has sworn in nine new permanent secretaries in the state.
Those sworn in are Alhaji Modu, Umar Aji Suleman, Abdulmumin Mamman, Alhaji Rabiu Garba Tsoho Nguru, Sani Mohammed Sama’ila Nguru Zainab Mohammed Ago, Yusuf Hassan Yusuf, Bukar Aji Bukar, and Baba Kachallah Geidam.
The governor charged them to inject their wealth of knowledge, wisdom and skills to promote good governance and groom their subordinates for sustainability.
The swearing in ceremony took place at the banquet hall, Government House Damaturu, on Tuesday.
Gov Buni said the appointment of the new permanent secretaries iis purely based on merit, competence and capacity.
He charged them to add value from their wealth of experience to the civil service for government to achieve its set goals.
