Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has disbursed ₦100 million each to 16 local government chairmen in line with his administration’s pro-people agenda at all levels of government.
In a Facebook post on Friday, Governor Kefas said a total of ₦1.6 billion was disbursed for community-focused projects across the state.
“This marked another major step in our bid to decentralize development and ensure that governance reaches the most remote and underserved communities.
“To ensure the funds are put to judicious use, a monitoring committee will be constituted to oversee project execution,” he said.
