Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has paid a visit to the Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Sen. Simon Bako Lalong, at his Abuja residence.
The visit marks the first time Governor Mutfwang is visiting the residence of his predecessor.
The visit also comes weeks after Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
During the visit, the two leaders held discussions behind closed doors, after which Governor Mutfwang exchanged pleasantries with members of Senator Lalong’s family.
Governor Mutfwang was accompanied by the Senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial District, Sen. Diket Plang; Member representing Bokkos/Mangu Federal Constituency, Hon. Ishaya Lalu; Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel; as well as some aides.
