
- Commends CG Customs for confidence in Katsina officer
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated Deputy Comptroller of Customs (DC) Sanusi Tasiu Saulawa on his appointment as Acting Provost Marshal of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
The Governor described the appointment as recognition of discipline, integrity, merit, and professional excellence demonstrated by DC Saulawa in service to the nation.
Governor Radda said the elevation reflects growing trust in Katsina indigenes serving in key national security and revenue institutions across Nigeria.
“We are proud to see one of our own elevated to this important national assignment. DC Sanusi Saulawa has consistently demonstrated professionalism, discipline, and commitment. We are confident he will discharge his duties with honour,” the Governor said.
He further expressed confidence in DC Saulawa’s ability to strengthen discipline and compliance within the Nigeria Customs Service.
Governor Radda noted that Katsina continues to produce officers who uphold national values and represent the state with pride in public service.
“You have been carrying the flag of Katsina State and Nigeria higher through your dedication. This achievement reflects hard work and consistency,” he added.
The Governor also commended Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, for the confidence reposed in DC Saulawa, describing the appointment as a reflection of credible leadership in the Service.
“This appointment reflects the Comptroller-General’s commitment to professionalism and discipline in the Nigeria Customs Service through capable leadership appointments,” he said.
On behalf of the government and people of Katsina State, Governor Radda extended best wishes to DC Saulawa, praying for wisdom, strength, and success in his new role.
