Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda was at Fara, Gallu town, Mashi Local Government Area of Katsina State on Saturday as Guest of Honour during a sensitization programme organized by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.
The sensitization programme was held in collaboration with the State Universal Education Board (SUBEB) and the Transforming Education System at the State Level (TESS/BESDA).
Governor Radda’s at the event speech bordered on his administration’s focus on reviving education in the state.
He reiterated his commitment to ensure education continues to receive topmost priority as contained in his Buildingyourfuture blueprint, and commended the education ministry particularly the Hon Commissioner for leading this renaissance.
The purpose of the programme is to sensitize the community, especially rural residents, on the importance of secular education, both formal and informal.
