Gunmen suspected to be members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the early hours of Monday attacked Zone 13 Nigeria Police Headquarters in Anambra State.

The gunmen stormed the scene around 4 am and killed two policemen identified as Inspector Ishaku Aura and Uzoma Uwaebuka. Their bodies have been deposited at the hospital’s mortuary.
The Police Zone 13 covers Ebonyi, Enugu and Anambra states.
