The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON has reiterated that it was on course inspite of some unforseen problems which are presently being diligently addressed.
The Madinah Coordinator of NAHCON, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris Mahmoud made the clarification while addressing the media on progress and some noticed problems so far.
He said the Commission had a meeting with stakeholders and strongly advised them to keep to the contractual agreement with them.
By and large, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris said there was no cause for alarm, as efforts round the clock are being made and intensified to ensure that all hiccups are smoothened, hoping that improvement would be appreciated as the exercise progresses.
He called on state pilgrims officials to live up to their statutory responsibilities by rendering the required assistance, guidance and service to their respective pilgrims.
