The Kano State Hisbah Board said it has arrested famous TikToker Murja Ibrahim Kunya for indecent posts.
The board had two weeks ago declared a manhunt for six TikTokers for postings that go against the teaching of Islam.
Hisbah spokesman Lawal Fagge told the BBC that Murja Ibrahim Kunya was arrested on Tuesday along with her boyfriend.

“Our operatives arrested her and her boyfriend around 1pm at her residence. Her neighbours had filed a petition against her. We have commenced investigation to determine next line of action,” Fagge said
The Tiktoker is being accused of defamation and indecency in her videos which generate thousands of views. She has not reacted to this allegation, but she appeared in an unverified video, saying that she’s happy she didn’t steal anyone’s property.
