President Muhammadu Buhari has departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja for the United Kingdom, where he will meet his doctor for a routine medical check up.
The President had earlier met with security chiefs at the Presidential Villa.
Presidential spokesman Garba Shehu also said the president will not transmit power to his deputy.
