The National Chairman of Jama’atul Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau has called on the Muslim ummah across Nigeria to embark on Prayers and Qunut to seek the Almighty’s intervention.
Sheikh Lau made the call while interecting with newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday.
On the worsening security situation in the country, he said that the mass abduction of students in Karkara, Katsina State by gunmen depicts the dangerous situation of security in the country.
The Sheikh prayed for the safe return of the abducted students to their respective families.
“It is condemnable and we call for prayers all over the Country,” he said.
