A fourth term member representing Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency of Kano State in the House of Representatives, Rep Abdulmumin Jibrin, has formally returned to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)
Jibrin, a former Director-General of Tinubu Support Groups, dumped the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) which expelled him two months ago.
In a well-attended political gathering on Sunday in his Kofa hometown, Jibrin declared his support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
Speaking on his return to the APC, Rep. Jibrin said: “In a show of solidarity, I was warmly received by thousands of my constituents in my hometown of Kofa, Bebeji, Kano.
“The gathering resolved to leave the NNPP/Kwankwasiyya, join the APC, and endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for a second term in office.
“Earlier, about 2,000 Ulamas from my constituency offered special prayers for the President and peaceful coexistence, progress, and development of Kiru/Bebeji, Kano, and Nigeria at large.”
