Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has led the burial of no fewer than 107 victims of the tanker explosion in Majiya town, Taura Local Government Area of the state.
After attending the condolences, the Governor proceeded directly to the Federal Medical Center in Birnin Kudu to check on the condition of some of the over 100 injured victims currently receiving treatment in various hospitals within and outside the state.
During the visit, the Governor extended his heartfelt sympathy to the families affected by the tragedy, offering prayers for the forgiveness of those who lost their lives.
The Jigawa State Government has taken responsibility for the treatment of the injured and has pledged support to the families of those who lost their loved ones.
