Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar has inspected the mechanized tractors and power tillers at Jigawa State Agricultural Supply Company (JASCO) provided by the state government.
Speaking to journalists the governor said 65 mechanized tractors and 45 power tillers were brought to the state and they will be distributed to farmers across the state on a loan basis.

Governor Badaru Abubakar who added that the state government is working on the modalities of the distribution also disclosed that the farming implements will be given out to the farmers before the rainy season.
On the loan recovery in the state, the governor said the state government has recorded 87 percent on goat loan recovery adding that jigawa state farmers have excelled in loan repayment.
Alhaji Badaru Abubakar further explained that in the agricultural empowerment support materials given to farmers previously they were able to pay about ten percent.
